John Wayne’s Born to the West headlines CAC’s Family Flicks Summer Matinee Series on July 19 in Coolidge

Central Arizona College invites community members to beat the heat as the CAC Family Flicks Series continues throughout the summer by offering a slew of Thursday Classic Movie Matinees across Pinal County.

The series rolls into the college’s Coolidge Center with a feature presentation of Born to the West starring John Wayne on Thursday, July 19.

The screening begins at 3 p.m. and is open to the public. There is no cost to attend the event and complimentary popcorn will be provided.

In the movie, Wayne’s character tries to prove he is responsible enough to win Judy’s heart while outwitting a crooked saloon owner.
