Christmas Camera Crash Course

Gilbert artist Michael Madsen will offer a half-day workshop on camera use from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29 at Pinal County’s most “camera-ready” lo­cation, the Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior, Ariz.

The cost is $30 for arboretum annual members and $39 for nonmembers.

Recuva your favorite moments.

Have you ever accidentally deleted the files on your digital camera? I know many of us have done this. It's not like you can just re-do that cross country trip with little Rusty & Audrey.

I was recently reminded of the sinking feeling one gets while I was speaking to a customer on the phone. While explaining how to take better photos with the digital camera, I recommended that he make some room on his memory card since the new settings use more space/memory. Instead of moving the pictures to the PC, he had just deleted all. At first there was a long awkward silence.
